However, they manage an impressive win at Sunderland in his absence. Just chalking their success so far down to Adam is overly simplistic – and a convenient exercise for pundits who wrote them off to explain their failings. Luke Varney comes back into the squad, while striker Sergei Kornilenko looked a genuine talent against Spurs. Wolves also do concede goals – and Blackpool score them.
