11/4 Green Destiny, 11/2 Sagramor, 11/1 Riggins, 14/1 Cai Shen, Dance & Dance, Proponent, The Rectifier, 16/1 Bar
Everyone is usually cratching their head ahead of these kind of handicaps looking for the potential winner, but this isn’t quite the case here. Green Destiny looks to be in a great position handicap wise after his win in the John Smith’s Cup at York. He looked a very easy winner and would appear to still have a respectable mark. The quickly run mile should also be within his range after running over ten furlongs at York. He is clearly the horse to beat here.
Sagramor has won good handicaps at Haydock and Royal Ascot in the Britannia Stakes and has to be respected, but the question is whether or not the handicapper has finally got his measure. It will be a close run thing. Riggins might be popular with Washington Redskins fans of a certain age but he hasn’t really produced in his two runs this year. However his form last year means he is in with a shout. Cai Shen hasn’t finished out of the first three in his last seven starts, while Dance & Dance has put in more steady handicap performances this seaso.
Green Destiny still looks to have a little too much class for this company. Back Green Destiny at 11/4 with Stan James by using our link and you ca claim a free £25 bet.
