TOPHAM CHASE ODDS (3.40 Aintree)

5/1 Mon Parrain, 8/1 Dev, 12/1 Frankie Figg, 14/1 Fine Parchment, Stormin Exit, Always Waining, 16/1 Scots Irish, Alfabeat, Ballyholland, 18/1 Bar

TOPHAM CHASE PREVIEW (3.40 Aintree)

This should be a superb spectacle and finiding the winner might nearly be as difficult as doing so tomorrow. Mon Parrain won a good race at Sandown, jumping very well. He’s got a lot more weight to carry, but he has a lot of potential and he might even still be well handicapped, hence he is such a short price.

Dev and Always Waining have good Aintree form, with Dev winning the Grand Sefton and Always Waining successful in this race a year ago. He beat Scots Irish and looks well enough handicapped despite that -  while Frankie Figg will guarantee a frantic pace as he loves to run from the front. They go at a fair old clip anyway for this two and a half miles and it could be a bit of a stamina test.

Fine Parchment looks a viable each-way candidate here, having won his last race at Newbury, a decent 3 mile chase, but he looked close to his handicap mark, but we can’t get so excited about Stormin Exit’s victory in a four runner race at Ayr.

TOPHAM CHASE TIP

Mon Parrain looks the handicap good thing, but Always Waining at 14/1 with Betfred is a good each-way alternative. He handles the fences and has a light weight. Back him by using our link and you can claim a free bet of up to £50!
