Tiger Woods 73 in the second round (+1) started slowly with two bogeys. Woods suffered the very worst of the conditions.
At one point play was actually suspended because the players’ balls were being blown across the green and would not remain still when they attempted to put.
Woods had two further bogeys on the back nine, but did finish in some style by smashing a huge drive on to the 18th green and putting out for a birdie.
The day was a disaster for Rory McIlroy, who shot a second round of 80.
