RYDER CUP FOURBALLS ODDS – TIE 9/2 for all matches

11/10 Westwood & Kaymer v Mickelson & Johnson 13/10

8/11 Mcllroy & McDowell v Cink & Kuchar 2/1

13/8 Poulter & Fisher v Stricker & Woods 10/11

4/6 Donald & Harrington v Watson & Overton 9/4

RYDER CUP FOURBALLS PREVIEW

It seemed as if Europe’s camp were slightly more content after the pairings were announced for the first skirmishes. The fourball format is where each player has their own ball, and the lowest score by each individual member of the pair counts. The first match looks a heavyweight affair with Westwood & Kaymer up against long hitters Mickelson & Johnson.

The exciting McIlroy and McDowell partnership are clear favourites against Stewart Cink and rookie Matt Kuchar, while Woods & Cink are quietly sneaked out in third match, which could be an interesting one. Ian Poulter was excellent for Europe two years ago and his partner is Ross Fisher.

Finally, the USA pairs two new boys together as the steady pair of Luke Donald and Padraig Harrington meet Bubba Watson and Jeff Overton.

RYDER CUP FOURSOMES TIPS

McIlroy & McDowell look good value at 8/11 with Betfred and take 6/5 on Europe to lead after this opening skirmish.
