NOTTINGHAM FOREST v LEICESTER CITY PREVIEW

It’s been an abrupt run into the buffers suddenly for Nottingham Forest. They looked good for automatic promotion at one stage, aided by their exceptional record at the City Ground, but it’s just 1 win in 11 matches which is leaving their hopes of the play-offs even looking uncertain. Forest have Chris Cohen back and they might finally get a debut from American international striker Robbie Findlay. A new face could be just what they need to try and perk them up for the season run in. Forest also have a league high 15 draws so far this season.

Leicester are looking for a double over Forest, but they have a hideous record at the City Ground where they haven’t won since the 1970′s. Defender Sol Bamba is expected to sit this one out through injury, but they can field a strong side other than that. Leicester are also in a similarly concerning run to Forest – after a bright start under Sven-Goran Eriksson they have just two wins in their last ten and look to be falling out of play-off contention. Throw in the extra effect of a derby and this could be one seriously nervous contest.
