This is a start of a run of testing games for Manchester United with the strength of their squad being tested. Nemanja Vidic and Chris Smalling will play in central defence, because there simply aren’t really any other options. Despite that amazing league record of just one defeat, the second string players do not look to always have the required quality. It’ll be interesting to see how they approach this.
