MANCHESTER CITY v EVERTON PREVIEW

So time to see if the Tevez saga has any effect on Manchester City. It now looks likely he will not be captain, but there seems little danger of him being dropped. It seems difficult to imagine that the episode will really effect Tevez the whole hearted footballer. City are missing the suspended Nigel de Jong tonight. Whether or not people have developed more respect for City or not, they have been struggling to score at home, and Everton could be the kind of side to make it difficult.

Everton are having terrible problems scoring consistently, they are missing Mikael Arteta and Steven Pienaar is also struggling with an injury.. Tim Cahill, as ever, looks likely to be the main source of goals. No-one seems to talk about Everton being relegation candidates, but something does need to improve. Everton though, seem to shine at Eastlands, winning on their last three visits.
