The Man Utd v West Ham betting suggests the increasingly traditional rout by a “big four” side of a “lesser” team. It’s a little sad when West Ham United fall into that category.

Manchester United odds for the game look pretty short, while the West Ham odds suggest they have been written off already.
Man Utd: 1/6 with Betfred, West Ham: 22/1 with Betfred, Draw: 7/1 with Stan James
Is there any prospect of anything other than a resounding home win? Wayne Rooney’s expected to be back to play up front alongside Dimitar Berbatov, while Paul Scholes may get an afternoon on the bench to freshen him up for the more arduous tests that lie ahead. Michael Carrick or Ryan Giggs is likely to play instead. Sir Alex Ferguson’s side did drop two points at Fulham last week and Wayne Rooney is clearly out of form, but they still look to strong here.
West Ham, by all accounts, are set to play with one up front. The Hammers have gone more than a year without a Premier League away win and Scott Parker has said they are “dreading” the game. With that time of psychology, you can just hope the West Ham squad get out of the coach without tripping over their own feet. They are not without talent, but that tends not to shine when confidence is at zero.
Best Bet: Manchester United at 1/6 are unopposable with Betfred – click on the link on the right to claim your £50. Try Dimtar Berbatov at 7/2, to score first.
