ENGLAND v ITALY PREVIEW

The question seems to be not whether England will win, but by how many. They did what needed to be done to disarm Wales in Cardiff in the opening match, taking the chances required.  That performance has got quite a lot of praise, but it should perhaps be questioned the state that Wales are in, struggling to grab any sort of win under Warren Gatland. England have also had to change their front row, with Andrew Sheridan out and Alex Corbisiero (who has Italian parentage) coming in to make his international debut. The Italians do have a strong pack, and this can only help them.

As for Italy, they were very close to beating Ireland, with the Irish only escaping through a late drop goal and their pack does represent a physical challenge every bit as strong as the Welsh can provide. There is a real chance of them to push England here, and though a win looks unlikely, the should earn plenty of respect.
