BOLTON v MANCHESTER CITY PREVIEW

With both sides starting off so well, it will be interesting to see what gives. Bolton tailed off last season, including a final day home loss to Manchester City, but that big win over QPR looks all the more impressive after their win at Everton yesterday. Bolton hope to have striker Tuncay involved for the first time, as he was signed too late to play last weekend. Kevin Davies gave Rangers a real chasing but he may find his influence is more limited against a City side who do have an extremely strong physical presence to go with their footballing qualities. Wanderers must try and use set piece opportunities they get, as well as make sur they keep the ball.

It’s difficult to judge City’s win over Swansea, as its difficult to work out how good, or bad they are, but they did show a ruthless edge eventually and show how their strength in depth counted with Sergio Aguero coming off the bench. A goal for Edin Dzeko way also show he might be starting to adapt to the Premier League having made a slow transition so far from the Bundesliga. It could be that Carlos Tevez might also be on the bench. All in all City just look they should be too powerful here.
