AFC SOUTH PREVIEW

The Indianapolis Colts are our pick to win it all. They, if anything, look stronger than last season’s outfit. Manning (pictured) is back for another season, while the defense should be even better with a year’s more experience for players and defensive co-ordinator Larry Coyer. Expect their pass rush to improve. It’s not a bad way to be when you went 14-2. We’ve already backed the Colts at a best priced 9/1 with Boylesports – and so should you! Claim a free £20 bet below.

The Houston Texans were 9-7 last season and keep threatening to break through under coach Gary Kubiak and they have to soon. They also need RB Steve Slaton to keep hold of the football. They also need kicker Neil Rackers to step up at clutch times in a way his predecessor Kris Brown didn’t.  They are also missing LB Brian Cushing for the opening four games. It could be unfulfilled promise again.

The Tennessee Titans were 8-8 with RB Chris Johnson the key man racking up 2,000 yards. The Titans need to develop more offensive threats, but QB Vince Young is a man with potential to improve. They boast a decent defensive line and if LB Will Witherspoon can have a quick impact, they can overtake the Texans for second place – and maybe steal a play-off berth.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are looking for something better at QB with David Garrard and Jack Del Rio neither entirely convincing. They have gone heavily on boosting the defense via the draft but we can’t see them doing anything but finish bottom of the division. They will be far from the weakest side in the NFL though.

Sportnewsbase tip: The Colts are taking this division and going to the Superbowl. Back them with Boylesports!
